Betaescin (β-aescin) is a natural saponin derived from horse chestnut seed and has a number of proven pharmacological effects. It supports better blood circulation in the veins and vascular capillaries. It has venotonic (increasing vein tension) and vasoprotective (vascular protection) effects. Betaglucan (ß-glucan) is a natural polysaccharide that supports the body's defenses, and is known as an activator of important skin cells. Panthenol is the body's own form of vitamin B5, has anti-inflammatory, regenerative and calming effects, supports the production of collagen and elastin fibres. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and strengthens the natural repair processes during minor damage, skin irritation and mild burns.
